I was prepping apples for pie when I realized I could slice them sideways and THEN use the apple slicer to remove the core from the slices. Then you get all of the apple pieces the same size and no seeds. I imagine this has been done and written up on the internet 100 times. But I was proud of myself for thinking of it.
