I smelled antifreeze when I got out of the van tonight. I walked around to the back, knelt down and heard a dripping, sizzling noise. It sounded like someone was cooking bacon on a George Foreman grill underneath the van.
Obviously, this is a somewhat troublesome development. But not unexpected. I knew it had an antifreeze leak before I left. I just hoped it wasn’t the water pump. I’m going to continue to hope it’s a small leak and nothing significant.
I’m half way done with driving on this trip. 900 miles to go. I’d like to drive the van for all 1800 miles, but we’ll see how it goes. Adventure leads the way!
