Out of office: internet repair.
This is the summary from my calendar entry for the two hours of work I’m going to miss (and have to make up) on Friday:
So, my neighbors moved out and Charter Communications came and shut off their internet service.
No wait, that was in an alternate universe where the correct thing happens. Actually, they shut off my internet service instead. And that is what I tried to tell the customer...

Rdio for Mac →
I already felt compelled to say just how damn ridiculously awesome Rdio is. And then they released a native mac app that looks and works similar to iTunes and…wow. This thing is the SO NICE. If you sit at a mac for a few hours or more each day, you should have an Rdio account and this app. I love it.

Tomato Aspic →
I had a song in my head and a slightly misheard lyric got me thinking about Tomato Aspic, a dish my grandmother used to make when my brother and I misbehaved. Well, maybe she didn’t make it as a punishment. But the combination of tomato juice and gelatin certainly has the flavor and consistency of torture food.
Believe me, I loved my grandmother. Her tuna casserole with crushed corn chips...
