Redesigns are also easier b/c the core feature set is defined. A foundation exists to build/improve upon.
@beach Agree on needing metrics. Maybe taking more time to develop standards of success can help with brand new sites?
@vanderwal seems it always comes back to the client and how well you manage them/their expectations.
Question for the web devs: do you prefer redesigns or first time sites? Is there a significant difference?
